Pavilion Maquettes

Jelly mould pavilions are intimate and miniature objects with which we can imagine a place to view magnificient vistas made visible and actual by the invisible contributions of the people of the African Diaspora to the wealth of the city. Jelly mould as shell, as viewing tower, as hide.  Jelly mould pavilion; the dome at rest.

Imagine a competition with entries by architects from 52 African countries including Tanzania, Mali, Nigeria Senegal and Mozambique, all commissioned to design a Pavilion for Liverpool.
